Eggstreme Farming guides

Eggstreme Farming (Sagitta Studios, Steam Windows, released 4 September 2026) is a first-person egg sim. You buy licenses, rent species pens, unpack birds, fill food and water, load trays, sell at the vending machine, and pay water, electricity, and internet on the farm computer. How to pick a page

Match the problem on screen, not the flashiest title. A crate that will not unpack is a controls issue. Eggs on the dirt with an empty vending slot is a money-loop issue. A duck in a chicken yard is a walkthrough issue. The launch notes list machines the May demo never shipped; do not hunt a collector in an old build.

Dollar figures in older videos are demo-era clip snapshots. Use them as structure — license before hen, pen before placement — not as a live price API. Bank loans in those clips sit near 12 percent interest. That rate is a reason to delay the bank, not a reason to skip reading the money guide.

Getting Started

The beginner guide is the opening-hour order: white-egg license, white hen, chicken-pen rental from Management, unpack in open space, food and water, first tray on the vending machine. It also tells you when not to buy furniture and when not to touch the bank. Read it before a second crate hits the floor.

Controls

The controls guide covers pickup, crate unpack, pen placement, tray carry, time acceleration, the bed added in demo 0.2.1, and the left-handed preset from the 4 September patch. Launch lets you accelerate time at any hour. If a hen refuses to walk after you opened the box inside the fence, this is the page — not another Market tab.

How to Make Money

How to make money is the cash loop: dozen trays versus the launch six-egg tray, partial tray sales, vending XP, bill timing, and why a second hen beats a decorative shelf. Pair it with the egg tier list when you start mixing colors. White volume still pays the lights; golden prestige does not replace a full tray of medium whites.

Animal Care

Animal care is food, water, health, immunity, medicine, and vaccines. Demo builds shipped two feed qualities. Launch added an automatic water refill; it is not a substitute for watching a sick bird. Rank mixes on the feed tier list before you spend the last of a bill buffer on premium bags.

Walkthrough

The progression walkthrough is the license ladder: white chicken eggs, then brown, then blue, then ducks, geese, turkeys, and golden stock. Pens are species-specific. The chicken yard will not legalize a goose. Mission and XP reworks from the demo sit in demo update history; launch rebalanced XP again, so treat pre-September level screenshots as atmosphere.

Farm Expansion

Farm expansion covers when to rent pen two, plus shelves, furniture, and plants. The demo advertised two pens. Extra rent without a utility buffer is how farms die on day two. Cross-check the profit planner before you sign another Management contract. Expansion is a rent decision, not a decoration decision.

Bills

The bills guide is water, electricity, internet, and pen rent: overdue XP, the launch warning, why Tab skip ages invoices, and why there is still no pay-all button. Read it before you hold Tab on an empty water bin.

Golden eggs

How to get golden eggs is the rare color: separate trays, collector skips, ordinary vending prices. Hunt gold after white volume covers utilities, not as a jackpot.

Automation

Automation explains the launch machines: automatic egg collector and automatic water refill. Neither existed in the May demo. Buy them after white trays cover utilities, not instead of a second hen. The official “what’s next” note also teases an automatic food refill that is not in the 4 September build — do not wait in the store for a listing that has not shipped.

How to sell eggs

How to sell eggs is the vending loop and the launch-week egg box thread: matching tray, partials, six-egg carton, collector does not vend. Pair it with how to make money when the question is buffer, not the machine.

Shop

The shop and Market guide maps Licenses, Animals, Trays, Food, Medicines, Furniture, and launch machines on the farm computer. Cash is visible on every store screen at launch. ESC-in-store still feels sticky — close with the UI X before Tab.

Licenses

How to unlock licenses is paperwork only: white chicken eggs first, then brown and blue in the same yard, then ducks, geese, and turkeys. A hen is not a license. Market saying license required after you bought a bird means you opened Animals instead of Licenses.

Farm map

The farm map is house, computer, chicken yard (green sign), duck/goose/turkey stalls, vending machine, and the extra trash bins from the May patch. Use it when you are standing in the wrong species pen.

Clean pens

How to clean pens answers the Steam mop question: there is no scrub key. Rent, unpack outside, place with C. The broom is a sweep tool you should not G-throw into a bin.

Known issues

Known issues bundles Tab-skip penalties, gold versus collector, jammed trays, demo saves, ESC in shop, and unpack-in-pen freezes. Check it before you assume a missing hotkey.
