Eggstreme Farming Profit planner checklists

This planner is a notepad for Eggstreme Farming, not a spreadsheet that reads your save. Sagitta Studios does not publish a public API of tray prices. Demo-era clips put starting cash near sixty dollars, a white-egg license in the mid-twenties, a white hen in the high twenties, chicken-pen rent at a few dollars per day, and bank interest near 12 percent. Launch on 4 September 2026 rebalanced XP and bills, added a bill warning, stretched the payment deadline, and showed your money on every store screen. Copy the order from the tables below. If you have not seated a hen, stop and follow Getting Started. If you have eggs on the dirt, follow how to make money. This page answers four questions only: what to buy first, how fat a bill buffer to keep, when pen two is safe, and whether an automatic egg collector beats another bird.

Opening buy order

Work top to bottom. Do not skip a row because a crate looks rare.

Do not put on this list yet: plants, music, a second species, golden stock, a bank loan, an automatic collector. Furniture and shelves wait until trays overflow and you are dropping boxes in doorways. Expansion timing lives on farm expansion; this table is the opener only.

Unpack the hen outside the fence, then place. A frozen bird is a planner failure that no tray price can fix. See controls if the crate misbehaves.

Bill buffer

Utilities are water, electricity, and internet. Pen rent stacks on top. Launch added a warning before bills are due and increased the payment deadline. Use the warning as a stop sign, not as permission to ignore the buffer.

Write three numbers from the computer:

1. Cash on hand (visible on store screens at launch).
2. Next utilities + next rent as one sum.
3. Feed and water to finish this cycle.

Buffer rule of thumb:

• Red: cash on hand is below next utilities. Sell a partial tray (launch), skip shopping, do not touch the bank unless the warning is already up and a tray cannot finish in time.
• Yellow: cash covers utilities but not utilities plus rent plus one bag of feed. Sell, refill, delay licenses.
• Green: cash covers utilities, rent, feed, water, and still leaves room for one standard crate or one license — not both.

Bank loans at about 12 percent (clip snapshot) are a last-resort line. Interest on a sixty-dollar farm is how you work for the lender. If you must borrow, borrow to pay a bill you already see, never to buy a duck.

When to rent pen 2

The demo advertised two pens. The second rental is a new daily cost and a new species (usually ducks) with its own license. Pen two is not “more space for chickens.” Chickens already have a yard.

Rent pen two only if all of these are true:

• White trays (and brown, if licensed) cover utilities and chicken-pen rent with a Green buffer.
• You can buy the matching species license and the first bird and the correct trays without dropping to Red.
• Food, water, and medicine stock can stretch to a second enclosure without skipping the original hen.
• You are not buying pen two to park a crate you unpacked in the wrong yard.

If any line is false, buy another white or brown hen in the chicken pen instead. Volume in a paid yard beats empty rent in a new one. Rank the species on the animal tier list only after the buffer stays Green for a full day-night cycle (bed skip from demo 0.2.1, or Tab acceleration — launch allows accel at any hour).

Collector versus extra hen

Launch added an automatic egg collector. The May demo did not. Collectors gather. Hens lay. Run this comparison before you spend a Green buffer on a machine.

The automatic water refill is a separate machine. It wins when you forget troughs, not when you need cash. It does not replace the extra hen. Official “what’s next” text also teases an automatic food refill that is not in the 4 September build. Do not leave bins empty waiting for it. Rank bags on the feed tier list.

Six-egg trays versus dozens: use sixes when one hen cannot fill a dozen before a bill warning; use dozens when several hens flood the yard. Partial sales are for Red buffers only. Walking to the vending machine is labor; do not turn every two eggs into a trip unless the warning is up.

Worked sequence (structure, not prices)

Hour one: license, pen, hen, feed, water, tray. Sell. Pay nothing extra.

Hour two: second tray or second hen, not both if Yellow. Medicine on the shelf.

First Green day: brown license. Stay in the chicken pen.

First Green week: decide collector versus hen using the table. Then, and only then, look at pen two.

Golden listings stay off this planner until the egg tier list would call them prestige. Demo clips sold golden dozens at ordinary egg prices. They do not rescue a Red buffer.

Revisit the planner after every patch that touches bills or XP. The launch notes already changed warnings, deadlines, partial trays, and store cash display. If a number from a May video disagrees with the computer in front of you, the computer wins. Write the new number in the same row. Keep the order.
