Eggstreme Farming Utilities, rent, and overdue XP
Three bills plus daily pen rent. Tab does not pause them.
Eggstreme Farming (Steam, Windows, 4 September 2026) bills you whether a tray sold or not. Water, electricity, and internet tick on the farm computer. Pen rent from Management stacks on top as a daily line. Launch added a bill warning before due dates and stretched the payment window compared with the May demo. It did not make utilities optional.

Where bills live
Open the indoor computer. Management holds pen rentals. Utility invoices sit on the same machine as the Bank tab — creators in demo clips kept finding water, power, and internet already one day overdue because they never opened the panel. Launch shows available money on every store screen, so you can see the cash drawer while you shop. That is a warning light, not a reason to ignore the bill list.
Pay from the computer. There is no “pay all” button in the 4 September build (players have asked for one). Click each due line. Pen rent is not a utility, but it behaves like one: skip it and the green sign on the yard is a lie you already signed.
What overdue costs
Demo-era footage (LadyShelab’s long session is the clearest) showed an XP penalty for each day a bill stays overdue. Launch rebalanced bills and added a warning; treat the exact percent as a snapshot, not an API. The structure is what still hurts: overdue is not flavor text. It slows the license ladder in the walkthrough while rent keeps charging.
Steam threads after launch still complain about the water bill and about Tab skip. One titled “Game punishes you for fast forwarding time” matches the loop: you hold Tab, bins empty, invoices age, XP leaks. Launch allows time acceleration at any hour. That is a tool after food and water are filled, not a skip for unpaid paper.
Tab, the bed, and the bill warning
Tab fast-forwards. The bed (demo 0.2.1) skips the night. Neither pays invoices. Fill bins first — empty water is how immunity drops, covered in animal care. Then glance at the new bill warning. Then skip.
If a warning is already on screen:
- Sell a partial tray (launch allows this) or a six-egg tray at the vending machine.
- Pay the due line before you buy a duck license.

Pen rent is a bill
Chicken-pen rent in demo clips sat at a few dollars per day. Extra yards are extra lines. The farm expansion checklist is “does this fence print licensed eggs faster than it invoices you?” Empty duck rent is a water bill with feathers. Use the profit planner before Management.
Launch lets you remove animals and sell them. That dumps a bad turkey. It does not refund yesterday’s rent.
Brooms and other tools you cannot restock on a whim
Steam discussions after 4 September keep asking where to replenish a broom after throwing one away. Streamers have done the same. There is no documented restock crate for a tossed broom in the launch notes. Do not G-throw the broom into a trash bin to “clean.” Pens are not cleaned with a hidden hotkey — you rent, unpack, and place, which is the whole point of controls. Trash bins added in a May patch are for packaging, not for your only sweeper.
Demo save versus full game
Chinese and English threads both ask whether demo progress carries into the paid app. Treat the demo (app 4669490) and the full game (app 4152550) as separate installs unless Sagitta posts otherwise. A solvent night
You are caught up when:
- Water, electricity, and internet are not red.
- Pen rent is paid through tonight.
- Food and water bins are full so a Tab hold cannot empty them.
- A tray can sell if a warning pops mid-skip.

If you only remember one rule: open the computer before you hold Tab. The warning is new. The invoices are not.
